Ron Paul Popularity is Growing

Ron Paul popularity is growing and his followers are passionate. This news belongs on a health and wellness blog. What he is running on is the ways America is being shaped. We are all beginning to realize the way business grows in this country it is build on many things and one of them may be greed. What he delivers is a message that health minded people understand.

The nutritional benefit of raw dairy is not an option in this country. Having a choice is a fundamental freedom. Ron Paul is someone who is resonating with a large group of independent thinkers. I am tired of compliance when the supply chain makes the rules that fit their agenda. We don’t really have quality assurance, pasteurized and homogenized dairy isn’t a quality product. Milk, which possesses growth hormones and antibiotics, may meet specifications, but will not meet human needs.

His message of smaller government resonates. I am not sure he has all the solutions, but he has the right views, at least on letting us decide what we want to use. Change matters now more than ever. People take this issue seriously. The line between freedom and an authoritarian country is beginning to blur. The rationalization that our food supply is now safe is for the American people’s protection is wearing thin.

The trend to flood the market with genetically modified, chemically altered, pasteurized, homogenized, and pre-packaged is proving to be detrimental to both our freedom and health. We are kidding ourselves if we believe this is all being done on behalf of the consumer. Giving nature a helping hand isn’t the same as taking it hostage.

What we should hope is no matter what the outcome, the message doesn’t get lost.America’s foot print is too big in the world of nature.

We need to reign in the FDA and EPA so we become a country, which is better for the consumer, and the world. The claims and promises of these agencies aren’t working, in reality they have helped saturate the environment with products that have undermined the health of the American population. All, the so-called innovation has been strategies to increase sales and dominate the market.

Ron Paul brings puts the American public back into the equation.

New Weapon for Peace on Earth

The new weapon for peace on earth took some American ingenuity. Leave it to us, we can come up with some unique solutions to some very complex problem

The Standard American Diet Is The Solution

The standard American diet is the solution as long as we export it to all belligerent nations. That means no more embargo, instead the opposite approach is the solution to the world’s turmoil.

We can’t send our processed food over fast enough. The proportion of young Americans that are too fat to fight or serve in the military is so high, that it is posing a treat to our security. This is according to a group of retired military leaders.

Retired US army generals John M.Shalikashvili and Hugh Shelton, referred to different sources, including the US Army”s own analysis to national data that shows as of 2005, 27 percent of Americans aged 17 to 24 were too overweight to serve in the military. That was in 2005, when some 9 million young adults, were deemed too overweight to serve.

The leading medical reason recruits are rejected for military service in the US today is for being overweight or obese, wrote Shalikashvili and Shelton, both members of the executive advisory council of Mission Readiness, a non profit organization to retired senior military leaders. Also, a recent report from the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research showed over the past 15 years the proportion of potential recruits who have not passed their physical exam because of weight has gone up nearly 70 percent.

Retired Navy Rear Adm. James Barnett Jr, a member of the officers group, said at a recent press conference held by Mission: Readiness, that national security in the year 2030 is “absolutely dependent” on reversing child obesity rates.

“When over a quarter of young adults are too fat to fight, we need to take notice,” said Barnett, according to a report by Associated Press.

The obesity problem doesn’t just affect recruitment, Mission: Readiness reports that the government spends tens of millions of dollars every year replacing military personnel that have to be discharged because of weight issues.

Sending Processed Food Overseas

Sending processed food overseas has to be less expensive than developing weapons of mass destruction. Also, the best part is once the people are addicted to the food, they will need us to keep supplying it. It would make sense for them not to destroy their source.

The other option is to implement don’t ask don’t tell where one’s weight is not taken. People can imply your overweight, but if you don’t mention this to anyone you can serve your country.

Healthy Foods-What you Need to Know

What You Need to Know

This is the only thing you need to know nature’s food is here for your good health. Latching on to terms like carbs, low fat, low glycemic index, and zero calories is detrimental to your health. Wellness is not dictated by low fat foods or zero carbs. Your good health is a component of eating whole foods. The only place to find them is in nature’s food supply.

American food choices consist of a wide array of processed foods. What is wrong with that?  From a wellness standpoint there is a great deal of harm that can be caused by consuming such a diet. First and foremost preprocessed foods typically have most if not all their nutrients removed.  Second they have chemicals added to bleach, color, preserve, and modify the texture. Then they have to add flavor because what they have does not resemble any familiar food flavor.

Since people eat such a wide array of processed food the added oils and artificial flavors have a familiar taste. In some cases whole foods that are minimally processed taste bland. That is usually because the processed food upped the ante for your taste buds. After eating the artificial flavored and highly seasoned “delights” you are not ready for a plate of greens. It is a pity that you have digested a meal that will do nothing for your good health.

The Truth

The truth is a whole food diet is extremely satisfying to you taste buds. What happened is you can not discern the more subtle flavors. Thanks to the western diet you do not exercise that ability. It is easy to get it back just cut out the junk food that will minimize the amount processed of food in your diet.  In populations where people live long and healthy lives, they eat a wide varied diet of whole foods. If they begin to eat processed foods, their rates of diabetes, heart disease, and cancer start going up.

Here in America we analyze the constituents of the food we eat. We look for refined grains that have nutrients put back into the food. They first refine the grain though processing. That means they striped the wholegrain of all its healthy compounds. You can’t put back a nutrient in the form it was in. Why? A whole food is not the sum of its parts. There are thousands of beneficial phytochemicals that are eliminated when you process food. These are the agents that protect you from age related illness.

When we remove fat to make food low-fat we lose the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K as well.  The only healthy foods are whole foods. That is your ticket to your good health, and a slimmer body. How do you recognize real food? It usually requires less packing and labeling. Usually it requires none of those. These whole foods appear at farmers markets and supper markets at the perimeter areas.

Whole foods are easier to shop for there is no need read long listed labels to see if the product complies with your fad diet. They are usually ready to eat, cook and serve. They are going to confer many benefits to you and your family. Wellness and whole foods go hand and hand. This point can not be overemphasized; real health food is whole food.  Nature’s food is what contributes to your good health.
