Fruit and Vegetable Phytonutrients for Beautiful Skin

Beauty from within means you have to nourish your skin daily to improve skin elasticity. To promote healthy, hydrated and radiant skin you need good nutrition. When they say it’s what’s inside that counts they got it right. Structural support for the skin doesn’t come from pharmaceutical derived creams and lotions.

Age Related Skin Changers

Primarily women who start seeing changes in there skin are 35 plus. Skin care clients range from their late 20s to their 70s, with the biggest portion in their 40s. People are realizing to look good on the outside you have to be healthy on the inside.

What is important to skin health is antioxidants, hydration, good fats, and exercise. Potent antioxidant flavonoids protect the skin from free radicals that cause premature aging. For a natural glow and to reduce wrinkles vitamins, minerals and enzymes are needed. Collagen breaks down when there is chronic stress and a diet high in sugar.

Phytonutrients to the Rescue

When you think of beautiful skin, you have to think of nutrient dense foods. Resveratrol is becoming better known in the health and wellness circles, now it should be the first thing that comes to mind in the quest for beautiful skin. Consumers are searching for the elixir of youth and beauty, without realizing it is conveniently located in their garden. In fruits you will find high levels of skin anti-aging polyphenols, anti-inflammatory agents, elastin and collagen protection. All will neutralize free radicals from sun exposure, protect epidermal cells from sunburn damage, decrease breakdown of elastin, reduce the effects of sunburn and lighten dark pigmentation.

Fruits and vegetables have a good resume. Each one has their own unique ability to add beauty to your years. Tomatoes are rich in powerful antioxidants. Lycopene from tomato supports skin smoothness and helps maintain skin integrity when exposed to the sun. Red chili pepper contains capsaicin that improves circulation, artichoke is high in antioxidants which can protect the skin’s DNA and collagen, and artichoke extract is also a cleanser and detoxifies.

Beautiful Skin Tied To Health

When you think beauty you must think outside the bottle, jar, and tube. Cosmetic brand manufacturers are aware of the power of plants. They are using ingredients such as botanical ones to reposition their products. Skin care remains an important category in the global beauty market. They know you can’t avoid the unavoidable aging process. They search the world over for plants that may provide ways to reverse symptoms of environmental ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles, redness, and brown spots. Changes in the skin’s texture are a component of diet and there is little in those jars that can slow, stop or reverse the look of aging skin.

What skin needs is the right supply of material to repair and slow the loss of collagen. Amino acids, antioxidants, enzymes are what will give the cells what they need.

Anti-Aging Lifestyle Strategies

What Accelerates Aging?

Phosphates

The newest research published in the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology Journal (FASEB) shows that high levels of phosphates in soda accelerates the signs of aging. High phosphate levels can increase the severity of chronic kidney disease and cardiovascular calcification, and induce severe muscle and skin atrophy.

“Humans need a healthy diet and keeping the balance of phosphate in the diet may be important for healthy life and longevity,” stated M. Shawkat  Razzaque, M.D,, Ph.D. from the Department of Medicine, Infection and Immunity at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. “Avoid Phosphate toxicity and enjoy a healthy life.”

Gerald Weissmann, M.D., Editor-in-chief of the FASEB Journal said “This research suggests that our phosphorous balance influences the aging process, don’t tip it.”

We are a world in motion trying to innovate through technology to empower people. The only ones becoming empowered are the food manufactures, pharmaceutical companies, and medical industry. We wind up with the diet sodas to help keeps us slim, processed food devoid of life giving properties, chemical solutions, and medical procedures in the beauty business that do little to support our overall health.

Sugar

Sugar triggers a natural process called glycation, which is the same chemical reaction that turns meat brown when you cook it. The sugar bind with tissues to form harmful molecules, called advanced gycation end products (AGEs) good abbreviation for what it does. It damages the elastin and collagen, the two things your skin needs to stay supple and elastic. At the same time AGEs also damage the kidneys, brain and other essential organs.

A 2007 study in the British Journal of Dermatology found that sugar’s effects on the skin begin to show at about age 35 and become more pronounced as you get older. No wonder that cosmetic procedures are being used at younger and younger ages.

The obvious culprits like soda, pastry, cake, and candy cause damage, but so do foods with high glycemic index, like white bread, pasta, potatoes, and highly processed foods. These foods are quickly converted to sugar. AGEs make the skin more susceptible to sun damage, which then in turn accelerates the gycation process. Chips and french fries have been chemical damaged in the processing and will supply you with AGEs which will compound the problem.

Natural Anti-Aging

All natural anti-aging strategies will protect you from visible signs of aging, while keeping you healthy. There is overwhelming evidence that these methods protect you inside and outside.

The pros are that what is outlined here works; the cons are that it requires change. We have a beauty business in America that relies on solutions that are pharmaceutical, and medical. What that really says we are using technology for what we neglected to do naturally.

The ideal lift comes from inside and out, and it will do more than the visible face contour lifting. which is a sort after procedure. Back to basics means firming and remodeling the skin from within. That is a both a way to rejuvenate your outward appearance while energizing your body.

To achieve both health and a youthful appearance, it is essential to avoid certain substances, and add others. The ones you need are the foods that supple abundant vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. These counteract the damaging effects on tissues, and retard aging.

Plenty of vegetables, fruits, protein, and the right fats will reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes while keeping you looking young. You reflect what you consume, in other words today’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner could be tomorrows look.
