Energetic Research
Energetic research has a place on a health website. The future of medicine is going to be dependent on this research. While allopathic medicine takes the mechanical view of the human body, it is proving that this is not the optimal course. Energetic research centers on subtle energy. It is the scientific study of energy flows and storage.
History of This view
What is not widely understood is that this view has been studied and used for centuries. It has gotten lost in the material world of modern medicine. The allopathic view is that you can manipulate the body though the use of chemicals, and man made aids. From the earliest time man understood there were unseen forces that governed our lives. From the prospective of quantum physics there are laws that illustrate this.
Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Naturopathic medicine, Polarity Therapy, acupuncture, are based on energy flow. Charka balancing acknowledges this phenomenon. There is evidence for the effectiveness of these approaches. When you assess health and disease from an energetic perspective you bring in a new dimension. It explains things in a new and very helpful way. From the beginning healing looked at the physical manifestations of disease as an outward sign that there was disharmony in the organism.
Usefulness of This Approach
The usefulness of this approach is not understood by western medicine. It refuses to acknowledge that we are animated beings, that every organ is supported by subtle energy. When you correct bioenergy disturbances you can see that imbalances in the system are related to illness. We know that cells operate on voltage to perform. A person’s cells may have insufficient voltage (cell’s internal electric fields) to be effective. All matter is animated by subtle energy; human health is supported by this energy.
The natural direction of healing will be to utilize therapy that can amplify the natural energy of each cell. Cells will heal and function fully when their amplitude is corrected. The practical application of this will lead the way to new healing modalities. As science advances along this path the integrated model of medicine with take a leap forward.
Our view of the universe will be reflected in this change of consciousness. The future is going to be written, and our connection to this understanding will alter the course of medicine.
Relax Your Way to Health
The Stress Epidemic
Stress is part of the 21st century world; relaxation is not build into our everyday life. The type of stress is different than previous generations experienced. This is for obvious reasons. We live in a society that is increasing its pace. By that I mean everything is getting faster and faster. It is difficult to learn patience when everything is expected to happen quickly. By expecting immediate results it increases the tempo of everyday life.
There is scientific proof that stress creates the biological responses in the body that triggers chemical changes. Stress is one of the health concerns in America that sends people to the physician’s office in droves. In the last few decades our life is suppose to have improved from the new technology. From cell phones, beepers, the Internet and twenty-four hour news on the television what do you think we should expect?
That topped with more insidious concerns that are beyond our control. It is not that the previous generations did not face perilous conditions it just that it was not of such global proportions. The news has been revolutionized in the way that it is reported from around the world. At one time newspaper or magazine had most of the information in the first few pages. There was a way to turn down the volume when you wanted to tune out.
Serenity
Who in this society is calm or serene most of the time? People have to search for ways to unwind and relax. Stress reduction is now taught at the workplace. Children are stressed by having to grow up faster in a fast paced world. If childhood tranquility is gone than what is the chance for adults to describe their life as quite and relaxing?
Stress and Health are connected
A stressful world makes chronic health conditions worst. Primary care physicians are prescribing more tranquilizers, sleeping, and digestion aids. Researches from the Ohio State University and the University of Missouri evaluated 18.6 million doctor visits by children for sleep problems. What they found was that in 81% of the cases the children received a prescription for sleeping pills. The children that were under 17 were experiencing sleep problems such as insomnia. Most of the visits were by children ages six to pre-teen.
This health concerns comes from both the nutrient poor food, and the high level of stress. There are vitamins and minerals needed for the nervous system to operate well. The low quality of the food supply stresses the body, couple this with the ever increasing expectations placed on our children and grandchildren in this fast paced society and you have a problem.
Relaxation
Relaxation is not a routine experience in this culture. Given its profound influence on our health it would be well worth it to learn how to relax. There is enough scientific evidence showing that using a relaxation method such as meditation, yoga, and exercise alone or combined have many benefits.
Research has documented the benefits of being in a relaxed state. It actually has proved to help memory, attention, learning, and positive emotions such as happiness. That translates into lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol levels, and better heart function. In a stressful world relaxation is something you have to practice. To relax your way to health means taking time from your busy day to unwind, and chill out.
Cancer Unraveled
The journal of the American Medical Association noted that in two decades of data there appears to be tumors that if left alone would stop growing on their own or shrink, or even disappear. Even better, alternative treatments help this process along. By changing people over to a healthier lifestyle they change the climate in the body. The tumor in the first place came about, because certain conditions were in place that allowed and promoted the process.
“The old view is that cancer is a linear process,” said Dr.Barnett Kramer, associate director for disease prevention at the National Institutes of Health. “A cell acquired a mutation, and little by little it acquired more and more mutations. Mutations are not supposed to revert spontaneously.”
So, Dr. Kramer said, the image was “an arrow that moved in one direction.” But now, he added, it is becoming increasingly clear that “cancers require more than mutations to progress.” They need the cooperation of surrounding cells and even, he said, “the whole organism, the person,” whose immune system or hormone levels, for example, can squelch or fuel the tumor. Cancer, Dr. Kramer said, is a dynamic process.
This is something that has been understood by many alternative practitioners. This is a vindication of many of the claims that early cancers responded very well to holistic practices. What is understood in this community is that the body can heal itself. It needs a good functioning immune system and a way to strengthen all functions of the body. This view is common sense.
There is research dating back many years that has shown that some cancers disappear. Allopathic doctors have not only ignored it, but never did the research to discover this. They are busy learning about the newest drugs, and getting information through the usual channels.
Tumors have disappeared; this is the information that should reinvent the cancer industry. Don’t count on it; the old way of thinking will prevail for a long time. Even though this is probably a small percentage, it opens the possibility for a new way of thinking. The logical conclusion would be to try to facilitate this process, as is done in the wellness sector of healthcare with success.
A study found that 60 percent of precancerous cervical cells, found with pap tests, revert to normal cells within a year, and amazingly 90 percent revert within three years.
The war on cancer is really a war on the human body. With all the harsh treatments, the immune system falters when it is needed the most. We see cancer unraveled, when the immune system is in high gear. We must increase energy, vitality, and strength. Instead we are depleting the very things needed for optimal health.
