Western Medicine

The two things that are working against most patients are that they have a Pollyanna view of what western medicine is, and the second is vulnerability when in a crisis mode. Caution is needed when accepting an option. It is not about the doctor being right; it is about the rate of return.  If the doctor is right about a diagnosis he thinks his perspective is right. There is a very important distinction between naming something and understanding it. The limit of his thinking is from the perspective that he is coming from.

Your health care is based on the data that is available. It is a sum total of the history of the methodology that is available. Anything outside this realm is not considered. Without looking outside the view of the usual course of action, the choices are small. This becomes very risky for the patient. Interpreting the data of western medicine is difficult. Studies results are questionable, vested interest sway the methodology, funding, and interpretation.

When you break down treatment in allopathic medicine, you can see that the cessation of symptoms is the focus. The pharmaceutical mentality combines with the lack of diversification in training brings about a very limited view on the course of action to take. Taking enormous amounts of toxic drugs has a practical cost; it trades one class of symptoms for another, putting the patient at risk for the probability of side effects that are essentially as dangerous as the so called condition.

Western style treatment is in uncharted territory, because health is not sustainable with toxicity, and only a modest amount of gain. From a purely academic perspective the break down of health can not be fixed by a box of power tools.

Here at YourHealthUpdates.com we will break it down and talk about pushing the limits, and thinking outside the perceived notions.
