The Achilles’ Heel of Health Care
Big Pharma’s stranglehold may be a simplistic answer to a complex problem. It is a good starting point. Flushing out the reasons that standard care does little to alleviate and combat disease is a multi-pronged task. Western medicine adheres to a prescription mentality, without addressing the underlying causes. The biggest problem is one of arrogance. I call it the closed minded approach.

In medicine they do search for the condition, but forget to determine the cause. Yes, you heard me. When you tell someone they have diabetes, cancer, heart disease, the real cause is not known to the average medical professional. The more they isolate a condition without looking at the whole person the bigger the danger. This is a myopic approach.
Yet, it is abundantly clear that it can be in large part attributed to lifestyle. Everything that affects one system will have consequences through out the body. Nothing in our physical makeup is isolated. All systems are activated by their interplay with each other.
Why You Should Not Be Satisfied with Standard Care
The standard American diet leads to abnormalities, which usually leads to arterial dysfunction and occlusion. This way of eating is also implicated in a whole host of conditions. The way Medicine is practiced does not seem to be working for a vast majority of people.
Medical intervention using standard drugs is a beguiling approach that seems simple, though costly. The residual risks to this approach are enormous. Connecting the treatments to conditions that develop days, weeks, and years later is supported by powerful research. Most diseases are initiated by inflammation, nutritional deficiency, environmental factors, and stress. These occur in combination, and combined have a unique ability to stress the system.

Alternative healers have for years offered some good approaches. There is a new revolution way of thinking. Thanks to the Internet all this information can be shared.
